Once I was so sad cause life was just so bad.
Every door I'd go to would blow shut on me.
But there I heard about a man with nail scars in His hands and I heard about how He could set me free.
Now I'm happy tonight and things are looking bright
since Jesus came and set me free.
Friends I can't wait to see those pearly gates
I'm so glad Jesus saved me.
I can talk to Jesus day or night
He's been such a faithful friend to me.
I've you've got a problem I know He can make it right.
Just put your faith in Him and then you'll see
why I'm so
Now I'm happy tonight and things are looking bright
since Jesus came and set me free.
Friends I can't wait to see those pearly gates
I'm so glad Jesus saved me.
I've been serving Him since I was young and He ain't done me wrong yet.
And the price that He paid for me is one I can't forget.
Jesus is the answer, He is my best friend and He can be yours too if you only let Him in.
Now I'm happy tonight and things are looking bright
since Jesus came and set me free.
Friends I can't wait to see those pearly gates
I'm so glad Jesus saved me.

Nicest Man In Hell
04:01
|
|||
I'm a good man
I have a good job
I go to church once a week.
I donate clothes to the needy
I spread kindness when I speak.
I've got two kids and a wife and I support them everyday.
I don't cheat and I don't lie so why must I be saved?
You can be a good man but that doesn't mean you're saved.
You can live a good life but you still don't know the way.
You can be a nice guy who treats everybody well but if you don't know Jesus you could be the nicest man in hell.
I go to the homeless shelter
I give money to the poor.
At Christmas I go caroling from the ones in the old folks home.
I'm at church on Easter Sunday each and every year.
I'm a pillar in my town so why must I fear?
You can be a good man but that doesn't mean you're saved.
You can live a good life but you still don't know the way.
You can be a nice guy who treats everybody well but if you don't know Jesus you could be the nicest man in hell.
Cause Jesus said it's not by works that a man can be saved but it's only by His grace that you will ever know the way.
He's standing at the door and He's waiting to take away your sin but if you don't open up He won't come in.
So just think about the rich man who tried to buy his way through life.
He tried to write a check to Jesus, thought that'd make everything all right.
But Jesus, He won't take it cause there's one thing you can't buy.
If you really want to live then you've got to die.

Workin' On Commission
03:33
|
|||
I used to be a salesman in a big shoe store workin' on commission for my pay.
I'd go outta control selling all them souls making big bucks everyday.
Some things have changed, I don't work there in anymore but I'm still dealing with souls.
And I still work on commission for my pay but this commission don't come from a store.
I'm workin' on commission, the great commission.
Getting folks sold out to Jesus is my new mission.
Now I don't have to touch peoples feet all day
I just send them down the straight and narrow way
to make disciples of the world is the great commission
Jesus said to make disciples wherever you go so that's exactly what we've gotta do.
It's the believer's role to be out winning souls and I ain't talking about shoes.
Yeah it's everyone's job to be a salesman for God no matter what work you do.
Cause the pastor can't do it all by himself and the Lord don't want him to.
I'm workin' on commission, the great commission.
Getting folks sold out to Jesus is my new mission.
Now I don't have to touch peoples feet all day
I just send them down the straight and narrow way
to make disciples of the world is the great commission
Well I know I'd better polish up my act before Jesus comes back by.
Cause a show horn won't be the horn being blown when He parts that eastern sky
I'm workin' on commission, the great commission.
Getting folks sold out to Jesus is my new mission.
Now I don't have to touch peoples feet all day
I just send them down the straight and narrow way
to make disciples of the world is the great commission

Halfway
04:56
|
|||
Chorus 1
Because You didn't halfway hang on that tree
You didn't halfway have those nails run through
You didn't halfway die for me
So how can I halfway live for You
Verse 1
Well my life was changed the second that I met You
Such a faithful friend
You've always been to me
And I know that I could never forget You
But I'm straddling the fence so much it seems
The world tells me
To go the wrong direction
And I listen up to what it has to say
But what I ought to do is follow Your instruction
'Cause I can't be a Christian just half way
Verse 2
How can heaven be on my mind on Sunday
When I live my life like hell through out the week
You see I've got to make a choice and do it quickly
'Cause I'll drown if I stay here
In the middle of this rising stream
Misc 1
(BRIDGE)
Lord I hunger for Your touch upon my life
You're the only one who can make my sin snow white
Satan tells me that His lies are true
But I can't live for him and live for You

You
04:07
|
|||
I've been trying to find the words to explain
just what I hear when I hear your name
but it's like trying to show a blind man how to see
and I wish thee was a way to say what you mean to me.
Cause you're the picture the artist couldn't paint
and you're the song that the singer couldn't find the words to sing.
You're more lovely than the fragrance of perfume.
the only word that I can find for something so beautiful is you.
Just like holding a baby in my arms
when you hold my hand it just melts my heart.
Just like watching the ocean dancing with the moon
the only word that I can find to show such beauty is you.
Cause you're the picture the artist couldn't paint
and you're the song that the singer couldn't find the words to sing.
You're more lovely than the fragrance of perfume.
the only word that I can find for something so beautiful is you.
And I thank the Lord above when I see you look at me.
And I pray that I'll be worthy of this beauty that I see.

He Took Away My Sins
05:41
|
|||
Verse 1
He Spoke words of kindness
As I spoke words of hate
Blood ran down His Brow
As sweat ran down my face
He picked up a cross
And I picked up a whip
He was parched and needed water
So I took another sip
I took the nail and the hammer in my hands
And headed for this innocent man
His Arms were spread out ready to embrace
But my fists were clenched in anger
As I ignored His Grace
Chorus 1
He reached out His Hands to heal my wounds
But I grabbed Him by the wrist
And I drove a nail through
He washed my feet I put a spike through His
As I nailed to the cross my reason to live
I'll never understand it doesn't make sense
I took away His life He took away my sin
Verse 2
He left the word and my world fell apart
I realized too late that
I'd been wrong from the start
I spent my days in sorrow remorseful and contrite
Just living in fear of dying in the night
I cried out to Jesus please forgive me Lord
I know my name was written
On the cross that You bore
I expected His Wrath but the room filled with light
And I could finally feel the Spirit of the One
Whose death brought life
Misc 1
(BRIDGE)
Well the cross belonged to me
But God's Grace it set me free
Chorus 2
He reached out His Hands to heal my wounds
But I grabbed Him by the wrist
And He pulled me through
He washed my feet I shed a tear
As I nailed to the cross my will without fear
I'll never understand it doesn't make sense
I took away His life He took away my sin

Jesus Took My Blues Away
02:59
|
|||
Well I used to have the blues most every day
you see I was just wasting my life away
'til I found a little country church down the way
and they told me how I could be saved
they said let go of you pride and let Jesus take your blues away.
So I went right on down to an altar of prayer.
They said I could meet the Lord Jesus there.
I asked for forgiveness, I gave Him my cares and suddenly I felt changed.
Jesus came into my heart and He took my blues away.
Well the Bible says the only way that you can be saved is through the cleaning power of Jesus name.
John 3:16, you know it's so true, God so loved the world He gave His Son for you.
I know that my life has really been changed and I can fell Him in my soul today cause Jesus came into my heart and He took my blues away.
If you don;t know Jesus and you're feeling blue
listen and I'll tell you what you've gotta do
just say Lord I'm sorry, come into my heart
I'm tired of living this old way
and Jesus will come into you heart and He'll take your blues away.

Daddy Can I Come Back?
03:13
|
|||
Hiding from you seemed to be all I could do when I broke that window playing ball.
So I ran away from my hiding place but it only took until night fall for me to say,
Daddy can I come back? I'm sorry for what I've done. I know I've been bad, please don't be mad, daddy please can I come back home?
When I turned 18 I thought I'd do big things so I packed a bag and I hit the road.
Hitchiking in trucks I finally ran out of luck so I picked up the telephone and I said,
Daddy can I come back? I'm sorry for what I've done. I know I've been bad, please don't be mad, daddy please can I come back home?
The years have gone by, I've grown older with time but I'm no wiser than I was back then.
Still trying to hide all my sin and my pride on my knees I ask this question again.
Cause every time I try to do things my own way I just trip and fall. But Lord I need to be living by your grace. Father please, can I come back home?
Daddy can I come back? I'm sorry for what I've done. I know I've been bad, please don't be mad, daddy please can I come back home?

Billy always lived alone, his prison was an empty home.
He came to this church as a last resort for a friend. But he didn't look just right so the church turned him out into the dark of night.
Before very long he brought his life to an end.
What is this world coming to?
Do they see Jesus when they look at you?
Do they see a light that's shining bright in the dark?
Do they know you'll always be there fore them when they have need.
They won't come to Jesus if they can't come to you.
What is this world coming to?
Mary came to this church as a teen.
She was pregnant and out on the street.
She saw the sign that said our church can be your home.
But they turned her away
said we're just to busy today.
we can't help you now, we've got a missions drive going on.
What is this world coming to?
Do they see Jesus when they look at you?
Do they see a light that's shining bright in the dark?
Do they know you'll always be there fore them when they have need.
They won't come to Jesus if they can't come to you.
What is this world coming to?
Jesus came to your door one day
as a man who had lost his way.
He was dirty and sick, in need of clothes and a bed.
But you turned him away saying I can't help you today.
That's not my ministry, you know I just don't feel led.
Then Jesus said:
What is this church coming to?
when the world can't see Jesus in you?
when all they see is a light that's being snuffed out by the dark the dark?
When they know that you won't be there for them when they have need.
They won't come to Jesus if He acts anything like you.
What is this world coming to?
Are they coming to you?
What is this world coming to?
